Sometimes you can't tell how crooked teeth are until you see it from our point of view (occlusal surface).

Having lingual wires and retainers will prevent the teeth from moving back to the original position after treatment.

Is your child expecting an appliance soon?
Why are separators important? 🤔

Separators are placed in between the molars to create a small space by moving the teeth apart. This space will allow the orthodontist to easily place the appliance over the teeth. Without the separators appliance may feel quite snug and in some cases may not fit.

What a change!!

Our patient over the years has worn down the enamel of his front teeth due to his edge to edge bite. This occurs when the upper and lower teeth make contact with each other causing the enamel to become thin, brittle and eventually chip away.
